Can you really lose weight quick?


Can we really lose weight quick? You'll probably find a huge selection of articles on the internet concerning how to lose weight, and countless others in magazines telling what you can do or not to do to lose weight. While I sat down to write this text I wondered how can I write something different and I made the decision to let you know a handful of home truths about dieting, the type of thing weight watchers and the like won't tell you.

But first I have to take a look at a lie. The modern diet we're fed by supermarkets and the fast food companies are very, very unhealthy to eat. Yet people eat these things all them time, why? Because it tastes good. The current day diet is full of taste and low in nutrition, and the more you eat it the more it becomes addictive, and after a little while you start to think that is all there is to food, as since of course it is all over the place. Hungry and out, enjoy a snack bar, pop in to mcd's, grab a KFC bucket. Processed foods is all over the place, and when an individual is exposed to something on a regular basis they start to consider it as the norm. But it is not normal, not by a long shot, it is non-natural produced low nutrition addictive crap

We started out organic gloop in the oceans an incredible number of years ago and evolved into the most complex dominant and intelligent life on the planet. We evolved over millions of years consuming the foods nature provided. Our ancestors ate what nature provided, even bread, the food most westerners consider a staple is only 3000 years old, previously being created by the Egyptians. Even 50 years ago we ate mostly unpreserved food from our local grocery , butcher or market. Food was produced locally and was basically mainly because it grew naturally. Then in the late 70's the fast food and supermarket culture exploded, and food became mass produced and stuffed with preservatives and lots of supermarket meals were created and marketed and over time what we ate changed. It changed from natural produced home-cooked meals to quick pop it in the microwave meals, these dishes are high in taste but low in nutrition. Food manufacturers began producing food with more and more preservatives and additives , like sugar , to make it taste better and to contend with rival brands. And as this happened food became increasingly more addictive and people started to get fat. Within the last 3 decades morbid obesity has been on the expansion untill now 35% of american citizens are over weight. Eating the fast food made in huge amounts food has become the norm, but just because it is the norm, doesn't make it right.

When weight watchers and jenny craig and the like market you their diets, they are selling you a lie, and the lie is this, they would have you continue to consume in the same way, easy cook high taste meals, only now rather than eating a dominos pizza, they say eat our low calorie pizza and you will lose weight. This is like taking a drug addict and just getting them addicted to another drug, only the addiction weight watchers and the like are getting you hooked on is the idea you will lose weight if you do as they say( while paying them there high fees and buying there meals!) The truth is this if you want to lose weight, you need to do a few things. Firstly you have to have the will to change and the discipline to do it. With out discipline no diet will ever work. This is the thing weight watchers will never tell you because if you know it, you know you don't need them, you have to do it yourself. Secondly you need to change your diet and eat right, you need to know what foods to eat and not to eat. Thirdly you have to stick with it, because as much as they promise you quick weight loss weight loss doesn't happen over night. You don't get fat over night and you won't get slim over night, but if you can be patient with the process you can lose weight.

Everybody desires to lose weight fast and there's a method to do this, however it requires you to train and workout like an athlete and the majority people are, particular when overweight a little lazy, or have medical problems that can come from being over weight which inhibit them from working out.

The truth is if you want to lose weight you have to be patient and disciplined and eat right. If you want to lose weightquickly you have to be patient disciplined and eat right and exercise right. This is the only way to get it done.

We reside in a culture that has almost everything on demand , movies on demand, quick checkouts at the supermarket, tweets and so on, it seems to me that some people have lost sight of things and expect fat loss to be " on demand" and when it doesn't happen instantly they lose interest. The reality is if you need to get slimmer you actually need to cause that to happen for yourself and you have to dedicate yourself to it, because being slim and healthy is a gift and really worth having, and anything worth having is worth working for.

I brought a 10 ebook and lost 5 stone (70lbs) and reached my target weight, this book explains how to do this and what to eat and make it very very simple, no carb or calorie counting or cooking special meals, it really works and I can heartily recommend it.

It is worth dropping pounds, because despite how good junk food appears to taste, being slim and healthy is a million times better, and the right diet is just better for you.
